Final Vectors App Privacy Policy
Effective from 5 November 2026.
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
Final Vectors does not collect personal data. The game has no accounts, no advertising, no third-party analytics and no tracking, and your scores, settings and progress stay on your device.
This policy covers Final Vectors (“the game”), published by Darksource Group Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”). It explains what the game does and does not do with data, and the few situations in which we handle personal data connected with it.
Where we do handle personal data, we are the controller under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Controller | Darksource Group Limited, a company registered in Northern Ireland under number NI704454 |
| Address | Darksource Group Limited, The Kelvin, 17-25 College Square East, Belfast, BT1 6DH, United Kingdom |
| Privacy contact | compliance@darksource.co |
| ICO registration number | ZB751750 |
2. How we use data and our lawful bases
Because the game collects nothing, we use data connected with it in only three situations. Each rests on a lawful basis in Article 6 of the UK GDPR.
| Purpose | Data used | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| Answer support questions and bug reports you send us | Your email address, your message, and any details you choose to include, such as your device model | Legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f): helping players and fixing problems |
| Fix crashes and improve the game | The aggregated usage figures and crash reports Apple provides. They do not identify you | Legitimate interests: keeping the game working well |
| Keep records of rights requests and complaints | Your correspondence with us | Legal obligation, Article 6(1)(c) |
We do not use any data from the game for advertising or marketing. We do not sell data, build profiles of players, or make automated decisions about anyone.
3. Apple's role
Apple handles your purchase, your download and any device analytics as its own controller, under the Apple Privacy Policy. We do not control what Apple collects.
- Purchase and download. Apple sells and delivers the game through the App Store, takes your payment and deals with refunds. We receive sales totals by country and date. We never see your name, your Apple Account or your payment details.
- Analytics and crash reports. If “Share With App Developers” is switched on in your device settings, Apple gives developers usage statistics and crash data for their apps. Apple provides this in aggregated form or a form that does not personally identify you. To switch it off, go to Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Analytics & Improvements, and turn off Share With App Developers.
- Backups. If you back up your device to iCloud or to a computer, your saved game data may be included. That backup is between you and Apple. We cannot see it.
4. Orders through Flight Panels
Orders placed outside of the App Store are processed by Flight Panels (flightpanels.io) and are subject to its separate policies:
5. Sharing and international transfers
We hold no player data from the game, so there is none to share or sell. The only personal data we might pass on is a support message, and only to the recipients below.
| Recipient | Why |
|---|---|
| Freshdesk by Freshworks | Runs the mailbox we use to answer you. It acts as our processor under a contract that meets Article 28 of the UK GDPR |
| Professional advisers, such as solicitors and insurers | Where we need advice about a message or a dispute |
| Regulators, courts and law enforcement | Where the law requires us to disclose it |
| A buyer or successor of our business | If the game or the business is sold or reorganised. Support records would be used only as this policy describes |
Any provider that handles personal data for us must protect it to at least the standard this policy sets.
Our mailbox provider may store messages outside the UK, including in the European Economic Area and the United States. Where it does, the transfer is covered by UK transfer regulations (which approve the European Economic Area, and US organisations certified under the UK-US data bridge) or by the ICO's International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us which applies.
6. Device permissions and tracking
The game asks for no device permissions and does not track you.
- It does not request access to your location, microphone, camera, photos, contacts, calendar, Bluetooth or motion data, and it does not send notifications.
- It does not read the advertising identifier and does not show the “Allow tracking” prompt, because it does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
- It contains no advertising, no third-party analytics and no third-party code that collects data.
If a future version needs a permission, the game will ask you first and we will update this policy before that version is released.
7. Retention, deletion and security
You control the game's data, and you can delete all of it by deleting the game.
| Data | How long it is kept | How to delete it |
|---|---|---|
| Scores, progress and settings on your device | Until you remove them | Delete the game from your device. Copies inside a device backup are removed under your Apple backup settings |
| Support messages | 24 months after the last message in the conversation | Email compliance@darksource.co and we will delete them sooner |
| Rights requests and complaints | 6 years after the matter is closed, the time limit for most civil claims in Northern Ireland | Kept so we can show how we handled the matter |
There is no consent to withdraw inside the game, because nothing in it relies on consent. If you ask us to delete a support conversation, we will confirm when it is done.
Security. Game data on your device is protected by iOS, which keeps each app's storage separate, and by your device passcode. Our support mailbox is limited to the people who need it and protected with strong passwords and multi-factor authentication. If a personal data breach is likely to put your rights at risk, we will report it to the ICO within 72 hours, and tell you without undue delay if the risk to you is high.
8. Your rights
UK data protection law gives you rights over any personal data we hold about you. In practice that means your support messages, because the game itself gives us nothing. The rights are free to use. Email compliance@darksource.co.
| Right | What it means |
|---|---|
| Access | To get confirmation of whether we hold your data, and a copy of it |
| Rectification | To have inaccurate data corrected |
| Erasure | To have your data deleted |
| Restriction | To have us store your data but not use it, for example while we check a point you have raised |
| Objection | To object to processing based on our legitimate interests. We will stop unless we have compelling grounds to continue or need the data for legal claims |
| Portability | To receive data in a machine-readable format. This applies only to data processed on the basis of consent or a contract, so it does not currently apply to anything we hold |
| Automated decisions | Not to be subject to significant decisions made solely by automated means. We do not make any |
We will reply within one month. For a complex request we can extend this by up to two further months, and we will tell you within the first month if we need to. We may ask for information to confirm who you are or to clarify your request, and the time limit pauses while we wait for your reply.
We can refuse a request that is manifestly unfounded or excessive, or charge a reasonable fee for it. If we refuse, we will explain why and how to complain.
For data Apple holds about you, such as your purchase history, contact Apple.
9. Children
The game collects no personal data from any player, whatever their age. It has no advertising, no chat, no accounts and no in-app purchases.
If you are under 13 and need help with the game, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us for you. If we learn that a child under 13 has emailed us directly, we will use the message only to reply and then delete it.
10. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please tell us so we can put it right.
Complaining to us. Email compliance@darksource.co. You do not need to use legal terms. As section 164A of the Data Protection Act 2018 requires, we will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, investigate without undue delay, keep you informed, and tell you the outcome.
Complaining to the regulator. You have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commission, known as the ICO. You can do this at any time. The ICO will usually expect you to have raised the matter with us first.
| ICO contact | Details |

Going to court. You can also bring a claim for a breach of data protection law, including for compensation. In Northern Ireland, claims are heard by the county court or the High Court.
11. Changes, governing law and contact
Changes to this policy. If a future version of the game starts to collect or use data, we will update this policy and the game's App Store privacy details before that version is released. The date at the top shows when this policy last changed.
Governing law. This policy is governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and the courts of Northern Ireland have jurisdiction over any dispute about it. If you live elsewhere, this does not remove any rights or protections that the law of your home country gives you and that cannot be waived.
Contact. For any question about this policy, write to Darksource Group Limited, The Kelvin, 17-25 College Square East, Belfast, BT1 6DH, United Kingdom, or email compliance@darksource.co.
